More explanations

Why am I hiding from Xanga, you might ask? I guess it's become a sordid sort of popularity contest. It's too much work and I'm never going to "win", so I don't want to play. That and I started blogging to have a place to vent, essentially, and it's hard to vent when I know that people I'm going to see face-to-face (some of whom are the ones I'm venting about) are reading. Hence the "hidden" blog.

Of course, with my desire for attention, I wonder how long it'll be before I leak the news.
